How to Transfer Your Domain Seamlessly
If you are moving your hosting to our servers, start by sharing your current CPanel credentials (username and password). This allows our team to create a comprehensive backup of your entire digital footprint, including all website files and existing email accounts.
Important: Do not proceed to the next step until you receive a formal confirmation from our technical support team that the backup and migration to our servers are complete.
A domain transfer can take up to five business days, and during this window, the DNS settings are usually locked. To prevent your website from going offline for nearly a week, ask your current provider to update your nameservers to ours before you trigger the actual transfer. Doing this ensures your traffic is already pointed to the new server when the move begins.
For a domain to move, it must be "set free" by the current registrar. You will need to request three things from them:
Unlock the Domain: Change the status from "Locked" to "Active."
Disable Privacy: Turn off WHOIS privacy protection so the registry can verify ownership.
Acquire the Authorization Key: This is often called the EPP code or Transfer Secret. Once you have this code, send it over to us.
Keep a close eye on the inbox of the administrative email address associated with your domain. Your current registrar will send an official transfer authorization email. You must open this and click the approval link to give the final green light for the move.
Once the transfer is in progress, reconfigure your email clients (like Outlook or Gmail) with the new server settings. Since we migrated your data in Step 1, your old emails will be there, but updating your settings now ensures that new incoming messages reach your inbox without interruption during the final propagation period.
After the domain officially lands in our system, perform a final sweep of the site to ensure all links are functional. At this stage, we will also deploy a fresh SSL certificate to ensure your "Secure" padlock icon remains active and your visitor data stays encrypted.
Domain Status: Only domains that are currently active (not expired) can be transferred.
Hosting Migration: We can only perform automated migrations for active/online CPanel-to-CPanel moves. If your current provider uses a proprietary or different control panel, the data migration will need to be handled manually.
